A Life Dedicated to Medicine and Others

Haley Nakata dedicated her life to medicine, to the people she loved, and to making a difference in the lives of others.

From USC to her orthopaedic surgery residency at LAC+USC and fellowship training at Duke, Haley pursued medicine with extraordinary determination, compassion, and purpose.

Her life and experiences inspired the two missions at the heart of the Haley Nakata Foundation: creating opportunities for women in orthopaedic surgery and expanding access to early cancer detection and genetic testing.

Her story is the beginning. The impact made in her name is what comes next.
